Wood -turner and furniture maker Shoji Morinaga takes his inspiration for his bowls from some modern woodturning masters. Most of his bowls are made of lightweight woods including Yamazakura ( cherry) and Ho no ki. Morinaga who has a background in industrial design, also runs a furniture service and shop in Japan.
