Bamboo Market bags are a favorite of local restauranteurs
on visits to Tsukiji market in Tokyo. Strong and durable, they offer a stylish,
eco-friendly alternative to disposable shopping bags. Extra support on the
underside allows for quite heavy loads while plastic over the handles, are
easy on the hands while protecting the handles from damage. Over time the
natural green of the bamboo fades to a warm yellowish hue. Each bag is handmade
so variations in size and tone may occur.
