Designing and creating her work under the name kanehen, Japnaese metal artist Shiori Taguchi produces unique and interesting kitchen and tableware objects in a variety of materials.
Designed as a small dish these also function well as coasters. Taguchi hammers the metal to give each dish its unique pattern and texture. Each plate is then finished with a protective beeswax coating.
