Japanese product designer Oji Masanori designs beautiful functional objects
for everyday use. Working in collaboration with companies, skilled in traditional
techniques. they produce what he describes as 'living objects'
The harimi dustpan is made of thick layers of paper. the surface of which is coated with persimmon tannin, a natural paint that provides some water resistance.
Unlike plastic dustpans no static electricity is generated making for easy use.
