At his workshop in Iwate Prefecture, ironware craftsman Rikuchou Ogasawara designed and produced a range of household items using the traditional techniques of the region until his death earlier this year. Ogasawara who had been practicing his craft for over 60 years had a very modern design sensibility and even traditional items took on very contemporary shapes.
