After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, Naotsugu Yoshida studied under well known ceramic artist, Taizo Kuroda. In 2003 he built his own kiln at the foothills of Mt.Fuji where he produces his work on a potters wheel.

Exquisite shapes, thin forms with subtle deformations characterize Yoshida's work, which he produces exclusively in shades of black and white.
