Husband and wife team Kenichi and Minako Fujii.work together to produce Urushi ( Japanese Lacquer) tableware at their studio in Hyogo Ken. Each has their specialty, with Kenichi handling the woodwork and shaping each piece in preparation for Minako whose expertise lies in the application of the lacquer.

These containers feature a textured laquer base with a thick lid made from Horse Chestnut wood finished with a beeswax coating.
