From his workshop in Saitama Prefecture Atsushi Honda uses a variety of repurposed woods to shape his simple, textured cutting boards and tableware.
Honda carefully selects the wood which has been aged naturally by the elements over time, taking on interesting patterns and textures which he incorporates into the designs. The front of each spoon is left with the natural texture of the wood while the back is finished smoothly. Each spoon and board is unique.
Wash with mild soap and water, oil occasionally.
