From his workshop in Saitama Prefecture Atsushi Honda uses a variety of repurposed woods to shape his simple, textured cutting boards. Honda selects the wood for each board carefully and incorporates the natural patterns and texture of the wood into his designs.
The front of each board is left natural and textured while the back is worked to a fine smooth finish. All boards are oil treated.
Wash with mild soap and water. Oil occasionally as needed.
