Metal artist Kanehen, produces distinctive hand made utensils and household objects in a variety of metals. Skilled in the traditional Japanese metal craft of Tankin, Kanehen creates subtle textures and tones on the surface of each piece with small tools.
A larger tray size version of Kanehen's round nickel silver plate that we had specially produced. Kanehen hammers the metal to give each piece its distinctive pattern and texture. Finished with a protective beeswax coating.
