Matthias Kaiser
Matthias Kaiser has had a long history with Japan, having apprenticed with two Japanese master potters in Seto and Karatsu and exhibiting his work in Japan on several occasions. Evidence of his extensive travels is revealed in his pots which show influences in their forms that range from Bauhaus inspired shapes to simple Korean vessels, and pots from Africa, Iran and the Indian subcontinent.
