Semi-Porcelain Rim Plate / dia 21.5cm
Saitama based potter Miyuki Koizumi, has been producing ceramic tableware at her studio in Koshigaya City since 2013. Her wheel-thrown pottery, made from a blend of semi-porcelain clays, and a transparent glaze, has clean lines and minimal decoration.
*Each hand-made piece will have minor differences in tone and appearance.

1997 Instructor at the Ceramic Art Foundation.
1999 Prefectural Governor's Award at the National Ceramic Foundation Exhibition.
2004 Completed training at the Japan Decorative Art School Ceramic Workshop.
2008 Engaged in production of ceramics in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture.
2013 Established an independent studio in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture.
