The artisans at Nakamura Rousoku have been producing traditional Kyo-Rousoku (Japanese Candles ) in Kyoto since 1887. The eco-friendly candles, which have been used in Buddhist ceremonies since ancient times are produced using the fruit of the Haze tree (Japanese wax tree). The natural plant based materials produce a beautiful, large flame with minimal soot. Each set comes packaged in a kiri wood box. (*Candle stands sold separately.)
