Tatsuya Aida's chazutsu are meticulously crafted to fit together precisely and have a tight inner lid to further preserve the freshness of the contents. While chazustu are traditionally designed for storing tea they can be used for spices, herbs or any other foodstuff whose freshness needs to be preserved.

1976 Born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1976.
2000 Graduated from the Department of Crafts, Tokyo Gakugei University.
2002 Completed lacquer work at Kyoto City University Graduate School of Crafts,
2003 Began producing works of his own design while apprenticing at a furniture workshop in Okayama.
2005 Established an independent workshop in Fukushima Prefecture.
