Henko Vase / H 13.5cm

Glass artist Yoshihiro Nishiyama’s work has the nostalgic appeal of something produced in an earlier era, which is not surprising as he is greatly influenced by old glassware from the Edo, Meiji and Taisho periods. Nishiyama produces his glass vessels using the Katabuki glass-blowing technique which uses a mold to shape each piece.
