Linen cloths produced for Azmaya by Hayashiyo a textile maker in Shiga established in the Meiji era. Use of a vintage shuttle loom produces beautiful fabrics at the expense of speed. The cloths are highly absorbent and quick to dry. The stiff fabric will soften after a few washes.
