Torii Kanaami (Torii Metal Weaving Craft) is the oldest wire metal weaving shop and manufacturer in Kyoto. Since their founding in 1889, the Torii family have been manufacturing a range of netted wire goods from woven netting used in the shrines, temples and traditional townhouses (Machiya) of Kyoto to utensils used for traditional Japanese cuisine and tea preparation.
