Gifu-based metalsmith Mitsuhiro Konishi shapes and finishes each piece of his cutlery by hand. Konishi’s forged flatware series have simple forms complimented by subtle textures he creates by hammering the surface of each piece.

Born in Hyogo prefecture in 1981
Majored in sculpture at University.
Currently based in Gifu Prefecture where he produces hand-made metal cutlery, utensils and objects.
